Happy Halloween!
Every year, a lively Halloween party parade takes place in our neighborhood. Everyone, cheerful in their favorite costume, was pure joy to see. This year's artistic backdrop was a colorful pumpkin.
Milway Meadows Pumpkin (10'x12') took 1.5 hours to draw. As productive as yoga, if not more, I worked out my arms, core, and leg muscles, with music in my ears. The perfect sunny Saturday offered the best dry conditions for this meditation. By the time all the deep-color chalk was finished, the rubber gloves were done. The chalk needs some good energy to apply on the rough blacktop surface. Drawing, rubbing, and blending the colors seems to be the key.
Wonder what we draw for Thanksgiving?
